Install US TV Apps on the New Apple TV directly from the App Store

Hint: This guide is designed for new Apple TV devices which access the App Store.
To install US apps from the App Store you need to use a US Apple ID.
Please follow the guide below if you do not have a US Apple ID/Account.

Create a US App Store ID from your iPad or iPhone

On your iPad tap Settings then find and tap on iTunes & App Store.
Tap on your Apple ID and press Sign Out
Go to the next step when the option Sign In appears.
Press the Home button and open the App Store
You must choose a free app
tap Get next to the item, then tap again Install to get it.
Tap Create New Apple ID when you are asked to sign in.
Select the store country as United States and tap Next
Scroll down on the Terms and Conditions page and press Agree to continue.
Follow the onscreen instructions:
- use a valid email address (later you need to activate the account);
- type a password;
- answer the security questions, etc.
For Payment information choose None.
For Billing Address you need a valid US Address and Zip Code.
Find a valid US Address using Google Maps:
- Open Google Maps and search for hotels or restaurants: e.g.: Portland hotels
- Click on any hotel in order to see the complete address and zip code.
- Use the address and zip code as your Billing Address.
Verify your account and press Done.
Sign in on any device using this US Apple ID and install the apps you need.
